Two become one: fixed and swivelling in a single product

With the new UNIVERSAL DOWNLIGHT, you order just one product and can install it in a variety of ways: either swivelling, with an IP20 protection rating for indoor use, or fixed, with an IP65 protection rating, which is also suitable for wet areas. Simply combine the new downlight with round or square covers in colours to match your project. Thanks to easy-to-install quick connectors and retaining springs, installation is a breeze. What’s more, the new UNIVERSAL DOWNLIGHT boasts an even shallower installation depth of 7 cm and adapts both visually and functionally to a wide variety of rooms – and lasts 43% longer too. It couldn’t be simpler or more flexible.

Hot or cold?

Lighting sets the mood. The new UNIVERSAL DOWNLIGHT provides the perfect light for any room. The colour temperature can be adjusted to four different levels: 2700 K, 3000 K, 4000 K or 6500 K. This is quickly done using the CCT switch. Selecting the wattage is just as simple – 5 W or 7 W. Whether for exhibitions or living spaces: every room shines in its own way.

Practical sets for everyday use

For large-scale installations and maximum value for money, we recommend our [12-light set](https://www.slv.com/en-uk/jump/1008066). The covers are deliberately not included here – to allow maximum design freedom. For a quick start, UNIVERSAL DOWNLIGHT is also available in four practical sets. Each set consists of the downlight and a round cover in black or white – available as either an IP20 or IP65 (airtight) version.
